You know how I can learn how to seal the walls of smoke leak at home?
One room in our condo has the smoke escapes through walls or floor of a snuff shop below us. What is the best way to learn how to seal the caps, walls, furniture, windows, etc?
is probably talking a lot of work to do this, but if you were staying in the condo, it could be worthwhile. First, I would foam insulator (expansion) from the home depot. Go into the wall outlets, distribution boxes and spray foam just above, below and sides of boxes (not directly in the table). The foam expands and make a mark on the wall. Also, I'd pull all the sockets on the walls and walls of caulk along the floor to seal completely. If these two things do not get to do it for you, you may have to seal all floors below the main carpet. If you have tile, linoleum, etc, you should be fine. Pulling up the rugs to seal all the ground will probably require a contractor to reinstall the carpet, so If I had to go to that expense, I would probably hire another to seal the floor.
