Do you think Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone would fly as a Broadway Musical?
I just asked this question, but I wanted to try it in a different category to reap different results.
It just depends on the writing and if the actors cast in the show can convey the same feeling to the audience as when they felt when read the books and watched the movies. It's a heavy burden to carry but it can be done. The score from the movie still brings out certain feelings and as long as Hedwig's Theme is intact they've already gotten some people's attention. You must know that the musical is actually already in the works, right? I guess we'll see the reactions when it comes out.
